- '92 Mazda Navajo Lx 4.0
I have a 92 Mazda Navajo with the M5OD synchromesh 5 speed.
The problem I'm having is when I put it in 3rd I have to put the shifter almost into the 5th gear area and then once its in gear it looks as tho its in neutral on top of this when I try to shift to 5th I'm having to play with the throttle to get it to fall into gear.
This all started after my last offroad trip I went through a small mud hole and the truck popped out of first .
Anyone have this problem or now what this may be? I'm thinking it may be the synchronizers
