Given there appears to be no extendable breather on the M5OD, the consensus seems to be that it either vents through the shifter or some plastic plugs, has anyone attempted to seal up the M5OD and add a proper breather hose?

I know that those who install a hurst shifter have issues with venting at times and install a breather, but i'm looking at sticking with the standard shifter at the moment but would like to have confidence in not getting water in the gearbox.

Installing a breather in the top doesn't seem to be too much of an issue, but i'm more interested in options for sealing it up
