M5R1-can i swap 2wd-4x4

Can I swap the output assembly from a 4x4 m5r1 transmission to the 2wd m5r1.?
the bolt pattern looks the same ?
If yes is there anything special i need to know?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

My suggestion is to talk to Kris Guilbeaux. He converted his manual Navajo from 2x to 4x.
