MAF location

First off I would like to say thank you for this forum! Just reading through the last couple of days have saved me a TON of cash Thank you very much.

I need to know where the MAF is located in my 97 I its an OHV 4.0 if some one can post a picture that would be great!

should be right after your air filter box on the intake tube

I don't know which year has which but if you have a round airbox its inside it on the piece attached to the intake tube. If its the square box its right there in the open...

Do a google search to see what it looks like. It will be a plastic box with a little wire sticking up in the middle of the bix.

Its a black plastic cylinder located on the front left corner of the engine compartment (pass side) at the end of the intake tube. you have to remove the filter then the MAF housing from the intake tube, look inside and you will see the screen and the MAF is right behind it. I havent figured out how to get it out but its there!
