Manifold Parts

Hey, I have a 4.6L V8 with the "famous" Exhaust Manifold Leak! :thumbdwn:


I was wondering if anyone had a spot to look up ford genuine part numbers? Im looking for the ford part numbers so I can collect all the parts I need to get the job done!

Any info on how to do the job, or where to look up part numbers would be appreciated!

Part Numbers

I just got a quote today on parts for my '07 Drivers side exhaust manifold looks like this:

6L2Z9431AA - Manifold (drivers side) ~150$
9L2Z9448B - Gasket (you need two do do one side its a split gasket) ~28$ for both
W703902S403 - Stud (they changed them to stainless so they recommend replacing all 8 while in there) ~51$ for all 8
W701706S2 - Nut (again you will want 8 per side) ~14$ for all 8

Keep in mind this was all for my Drivers side... but I also found the information here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/6L2Z9431AA-Manifold-Assy-Exhaust-06-07-08-Explorer-/250885856125 with a picture and part numbers that were up on the screen at the dealer today. Also there some asterix in the part numbers on my quote but they seem to just be to throw you off if you try to find them yourself.

Now if someone would post up a step by step guide so I can decide if this is a job I should try myself or not. Let me know if you decide to go for it.

Fordparts.com got me one for 104. Shop different dealership on the site.
