manual 4x4 not working in my 91

what could be wrong with my 4x4 i lock the hub get in pull it down in to 4x4 the light comes on nothing happens then i drop it in 4low and still my front tires dont spin....if you not what mite be wrong let me know

When you shift it into low, does it shift into low range, even though it's not sending power to the front?

yea no power gose to the front wheels

But it does go into low range, right?
With the hubs unlocked and the t-case in 4H or 4L, can you spin the front driveshaft? With the t-case in 2H and the hubs locked, can you spin the front driveshaft? This should isolat the problem to the hubs or the t-case.

I have had some problems with mine. If you have a manual shift the linkage can be adjusted. Also there is a plastic piece that guides the shifter linkage onto the transfer case. On mine the plastic piece wore out and need to be replaced. Both of these repairs are cheap fixes.
