manual 4x4

hey guys i was wondering if anybody switched from manual 4x4 to on the fly cuase im getting sick of this on the fly becuase too many thing keep going wrong, so i was curious of anybody had parts to convert my on the fly 4x4 to manual

It's been done several times. Do a search and you'll quickly find this, as well as a nice parts list for what is involved in the swap.

alright....lol i actually asked this question earlier in my forum days and i found it on that thread , but one thing that i didnt find is, ive already been to a junkyard where the t case's are out and in the explorer's but i must have looked at a dozen of them and they all looked the same, is there any way of tellin just by lookin at the tcase if its a manual or not other than lookin seeing if theres a hole in the floor

manual shift transfercase has no shift motor...here is what it looks like, is off trs. i hope noone gets upset over me using there tech library, well hope this helps.
