I got my Mile Markers put on, they work great, but I had a problem with the installation. The outer nut(the second one that locks the other one) seemed to be too thick. When I put on the washer, I could not get the clip in the little groove. So...I just took the nut to the ol' bench grinder and ground it thinner, which enabled me to put the washer and clip in properly. I don't know if the sent the wrong one, but it was impossible to do without grinding it down. I was prying on the back of the axle(by the U-joints) to push out the axle, and it still wouldn't come close. And everything was torqued properly too.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else had this problem with the Mile Markers.

I have heard of others having problems, I have the Warn, and it was close, real close...

If this is what I am thinking of I had the same problem reinstaling my auto hubs. Little C clip right? Well I just used my persuader. (5lb sledge) It seems that the universal joint compreses a litle when you take the hub off.

Yeah, I am talking about the little c-clip. It was not even close to fitting. I don't know if they gave me the wrong one, or what. Oh well, problem solved. Grinder, sledge hammer, duct tape...what would we do without them!
