OK, I've had my manuals for 2 months. When I switched over the shop I had do them didn't torque them right and I blew a set of bearings (right side) in a week (along with a spindle). The shop wouldn't claim responsibility. Now, 2 months later, I wrecked another set of bearings on the right side. They started making noise and by the time I got home they were toast. I know about the Warn parts to fix this prob, but now Warn doesn't sell them anymore. For the rest of us, can we figure out how to fix this problem? I know I'm not alone here...

Cheers

I'm in the same boat and I know exactly what you're going through. I'm contemplating putting the old auto hubs back for street use and change them out to manual whenever I go four wheeling. The other option is to take it to a precision machine shop with the right press and lathe to do the job right. The new WARN kit does come with the slotted washers so you could take the nut and the washers to the precision machine shop and have them tap and set the allen screws for you.

The shops around this area are asking too much for it (~$150 each nut) so I have to save up some money before I can get it done.

Good luck and let me know if you've come up with any other solutions.

Any body knows someone at WARN that could get us the specs/template for it???
