hi there,

i'm wondering if someone could help me with a problem...i have a 91 XLT and i need new 4X4 hubs because the one's i have are not working. i want to get the WARN manual ones, but i can't seem to find anyone locally that can help me. i called a couple of places here in milwaukee, wi and guys i talked to told me to go the FORD dealer. any ideas of what i should do?? please help me!!

There are several manufactures that make these kits.


If you can't find them locally, ie. Pep-Boys, AutoZone, Car Quest,... try some of these on-line places.

For Warn, the #'s are; 29071 138.90(hubs) 27997 39.90 (conversion kit)
For MileMarker go to www.milemarker.com Part# is "A"428

I picked up a set of Ford replacement manual hubs from a company called Fleetpride. They deal mainly with full size trucks and trailers, but also deal with drive train components for small and mid size vehicles.

i could be wrong but i think that WARN made FORD's OEM manual hubs
 






my manual hubs are made by "Mile Marker" they were $120 and have a lifetime warranty
