I've done my fair share of searches, but I can't find much info on the topic. I've got a parted out 85 BII with the manual shift tcase, I'm not sure which model even, but I'd like to get rid of the electronic shift in my 92 Ex.
I would appreciate any info on the swap, ex. bolt patterns, shift linkage, driveshafts, or even if I can just swap the linkage over yet. I haven't taken a good look at either yet, just wanted to know if anyone had some advice or suggestions. Thanks

depending on which engine that BII had i think that is a 1350 which will not bolt up like a 1354m. 1354's are fairly cheap and easy to come by but make sure you get a shift linkage when you go hunting cause those are real hard to find. some people have gotten the 1350 linkage to work with an explorer and a 1354 and some people haven't, so you could give that a try if you don't have a choice on the linkage.

The engine was a 2.9l V6, and if anyone has any other suggestions I would really appreciate it.
