My 93 has manual seats, they slide back far enough that I have the leg room I need. I'm thinking about buying another 93 with power seats, but the X is located 90 minutes away, so I can't test the seats for legroom. Does anyone know if the manual and power seats both scoot back the same amount?

Thanks!

I just swapped from electric to manual seats into my 1994 4 door. The factory electric seats had a little more leg room than the manual ones I swapped in from a 2 door explorer.

Thanks, I feel better about that long drive to look at the X.

BTW can I ask why you swapped out the seats?

It's basically a trail rig. I prefer the manuals for simplicity and I am eliminating unnecessary wiring. The manual seats weigh 35 lbs and the electric weigh almost 60lbs. So I will be carrying less baggage too.

That makes good sense.
