massive headache

i have a 03 explorer just base model no keypad entry was starting fine but the battery was bad so i replaced the battery and then when i would turn the key all power would cut out to the car and i would give it a second and everything would come on all i get is a click noise like the batter is bad but the battery test good the started has 12.8v the relays are good im not sure where to go is it possible the truck lost key memory in the battery change but all power cuts out for a few seconds the security light flashes then the dash goes out for like 15-20 secs then comes back on any ideas?

you have a loose connection. Check that the connection in the battery terminal posts are very tight.

they are both very tight i checked to make sure they were tight and check the terminals on the starter i wasnt sure if there could be some security problem from battery replacement because it did start until after i replaced the battery

somebody had same issue not too long ago...do u have aftermarket alarm system?

it had one but it was just a remote start with no starter kill i removed all componets to the remote start there is a big green plug on under the drivers side dash to the right im not to sure what it is
