its all right to be creative, do not have a lot of money :)

I have a Ford Explorer 94' where only the driver side button on the master switch does not work (took master apart and it looks melted.) Do i have to replace the whole master window switch with all the switches or just can the one piece be replaced.
Or can i glue a small extension to the melted off part :)???

Welcome to this forum! I've renamed your thread, and moved it into the stock 91-94 section. You have to determine the cause of the failure before you could replace the part. It sounds like there was a short.

agreed, there has to be a short somewhere. To try to locate the problem look at the switch like it would sit in the truck with the pins down. The side that has the melting eg (front right) (front left), start tracing wires. First good place to look if its not the drivers door is in the looms that go to the door from the pillars, you can throw parts at it only to have them break again, or you can try to trace down the problem.

thank i will start on that and give u guys an update soon
