Hello nice people!!!! So, my AT Wranglers are getting a little old. Looking for some new shoes for my trac. It's got some warriors and a TT twist (~2 inches). And stock rims. Looking for reccomendations for a tire. I'm n IN so I get plenty of snow and help on farms. Mild off road tires r fine, nothing fancy. Also, what's the biggest I can go without messing with gear swap and new fender flares??

Anything over 285/75/16 is too big. 285/75 will result in rubbing that will require some trimming. A 1-2" tire size change won't need a gear change although your gas mileage will suffer. 3.73 would be fine and 4.10's would be definitely fine. Most people opt for the 265/75/16 to avoid trimming and have better suspension travel, ride quality, gas mileage.

Stock 255/70/16: 30.1"
265/75/16: 31.6"
275/70/16: 31.2"
285/70/16: 32"
285/75/16: 32.8"

Hope this helps.

And to answer your brand question:
BFG All-Terrain T/A
Pirelli Scorpion ATR
Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2
General Grabber AT2

just look on tirerack.com or discounttire.com

I run the 265's on stock rims with my ST. They are Cooper A/T's, bought them at The Tire Factory.

I had 265/75-16 Bridgestone REVO's on my old Trac with a TT/shackle lift. Awesome tires in snow, although they wear quickly. The rears rubbed a little bit on the inner fender but not enough that you noticed. 285's will fit but you will either need to trim the inner fender or use spacers on the rear.

have 265/75/16 Goodyear duratracs on mine, I find they are alot more aggressive then the bfg all terrain ta but still have a comfortable ride . they are a great off road tire aswell but have siping so they perform in the winter aswell, and being in canada I needed that.

they are worth a look, and I got mine for 1000 bucks with an alignment and road damage warranty
