Hello, Driving 90 Eddie 4.0 liter EAWD at 110+ KM on the parkway it felt like It was running out of gas. I read that Fire Zapper 93 Aerostar was computer governed at 99 MPH..Was this an option on the Aerostar? or do I maybe have tranny problems?
Thanks, Whitelion

BrooklynBay, no I haven't check the fuel filter. I've only been driving her for about 3 months.

I wish it had the leather seats:)

BrooklyBay it was a question. I was playing off Black-Aerostar's post about a leather Eddie. Just a question which was answered.

Did you get around to adding the fuel injector cleaner or replacing the fuel filter? Cut your old fuel filter open with a tubing cutter to see if it looks bad inside.

Thanks Brooklyn Bay,
I have been so busy with my 89T-type,it has the Teves ABS system.
I can't seem to find out why the pump started to run 10 minutes after I turned off the key since MIDAS bleed it.
I will try what you suggested for my Eddie after I get my Buick back on the road.

Thanks, White Lion

I guess Midas lost the golden touch.:p: It sounds like there is still air in the system.

Yes they lost it for sure.:thumb down:The guy said he learned on the early Teves system.
So you think there is still air in the system? Maybe I will get them to bleed them again tomorrow because I need to have the sliders on the calipers serviced too.

Ps I let you know how it works out...

Thanks,

Yes, They did get out a bit of air from the left rear brake from my lesabreT-, also freed up the calipers, Seems ok now.

The other day I put in a 16oz bottle of Duralube fuel injector, intake valve & port & restores cleanliness for the Eddie. ,She's starting a bit better plus its running a little better too.

Thanks, Whitelion
