Mazda 6? With Pictures and Road Test Review by ChuckyD

My mom got a killer deal on the Aurora that's why they took it. With Oldsmobile phasing out you can get quite a good deal on them. They will still service and honer her warranty. As for the Acuras they are good for the $$. Why do you think we see so many on the road these days? Did you check out the new honda accorde coupe? It looks nice and is quite quick w/ that new V6.

Nehhh, not a big fan of the Acord. If im going to go with a Honda, im going to go with an Acura.

Its a good deal if it has the navigation system, does it?

You can get a good deal on the Oldsmobiles thats true, but that wont help if you want to lease (seems like Chuck does). See, a lease depends just as much on the "residual value" (a projected market price for the vehicle after the lease end) as it does on the actual purchase price of the car. When leasing essentially you're paying for the difference between the two. The residual value of the Aurora is so low it costs almost $700 a month to lease it. Even if Chuck were to buy it with 0% financing he'd be looking at between $500-600 a month which is out of the range of the cars he's looking at.

My son looked at the Aurora too.

He may be right Chuck. The new Accord benefits the all new body and chassis, as well as the new engine where the CL is still riding on the old hardware. Next year the TL and CL will be all new, so your CL you buy now will be old news. May want to wait or look into the Accord.

The new Accord is very impressive, and even has features the Acura doesn't have.

Well the Acuras only come one of two ways, with nav or without there's no in-between, no options. Let me run the lease without the nav.

What features does the New accord have that the Cl doesn't? Maybe i will take a ride over there next weekend.

Im just not crazy about the front end...

Dont forget, CL Type-S No nav

Its right on $350 without the nav. Good deal.

The new Accord has improved handling, a quieter stiffer frame, optitron gauges (like the Lexuses, they're constantly backlit even during the day, then go black when they're shut off), and some others also. You should give the car a look.

I'll find some pictures of my optitron gauges so you can see what I mean.

Here ya go, here's a picture of the dash of mine:

One of my friends parents own two new ls430s, and on a couple of occasions when i got to ride in them, they seemed like awesome cars. The engine is so quiet, that when your giving it 3/4 throttle, the engine isnt loud at all. Its SO wierd going from my loud truck into one of those quiet luxury cars, but I must admit they are pretty tight. I love it when people put some big chrome rims on them too, they look even better. They also come with a really nice safety equipment..jack etc... Its definately a sweet ride:D

Ill have to see about the Accord, i just packed it with options so it was equal to the CL and the Lease price came out to be a bit more...

Not surprising because you worked the lease based on paying MSRP. I'm sure you'd get some sort of discount on the car.

Where did you work the lease out?

on the honda website, i actually dropped it a few grand based on Edmunds TMV price.

I got to run to bed, im sick, Ill talk to you tomorrow...

Night

The manufacturers always exagerrate the leases on their websites so the buyer is surprised when they come in the dealership.

Go to www.leasecompare.com and run a lease.

Anybody have any 1/4 mile times, ive seen times ranging from 7-8 seconds for the mazda 6

Some odd reason I'm doubting that...
