when i engage the 4x4 high on the dash switch, The four wheel drive engages then but thumping starts as if I am hitting bumps on the road.There is no locking hubs on the front wheel. I am wondering if the front wheel is disengaging and engaging intermittently. Can someone tell me what is causing this? And what else should I check to find the problem.
