Mazda b4000

Hi everybody,

I have a 94 mazda b4000 4x4 which for the most part is a ford ranger.
my windshieldwipers only works on full setting, i checked the fuses and removed the plug from the multifuntion switch and added a 12 volt source to each pin and all i got was the grouund and the full setting.
does anybody have any ideas?

Welcome to this forum! Check the speed control resistor.

Thanks man. Pardon my lack of know how but where exactly can i find that? I know it's between the switch and the motor but i could not find it.

It's near the blower motor.

does the blower motor resister and the wiper motor resister coincide?

They are near each other.

hi, just checked for that resistor beside the blower motor. as far as i8 can see the blower motor harness goes in to the air conditioning unit and i think there is 1 resistor for the blower but nothing for the wipers.
any more ideas?
