Me and My Buddy Racing A Supra

This is me video taping and my buddy Paul driving his 94 Z28 it is dynoed at 400hp to the wheels. The supra is driven by our friend Bryant lil rich boy always talking crap about that supra being so fast its twin turbo give him that. They run a 13 in the 1/4 stock. We told him that we run a high 13 in the 1/4 thats the only way we got him to race. Well in this clip the first race of us we took off and we pulled so hard i guess he gave up. Then the 2nd clip of us going we made a U turn in the middle of the street and came back the other way well as soon as we turned he took off we thought we was gonna go from a go but not him but thats ok we still caught him..LOL hope yall enjoy.

Tell your buddy Bryant to pull the hose off of his wastegate. If he does that I guarantee you that your buddy Paul wont touch him. I have seen stock supras do this and run mid 12's in the 1/4.

PS if Bryant does do this I will not be responsible for what happens. If he does pull the vaccum hose off his wastegate he will boost 22lbs so make sure he has some race gas and doesn't do it often.

Yeah no kidding.

Now a couple of things:

Rich boys shouldnt be allowed to have TT Supra's, especially if they are late model 6 speed sticks. They should have to give the cars to me and shut up about how cool they are. My dad has a 98 Supra with 12K miles on it, so I know how cool they are.

Second if you do some mild mods to the Supra the Z will be dust, how much work did it take to get the Z to 400 RWHP? do that same amount of work to the Supra and you will REALLY have something. Some of the single turbo Supra guys are pushing 1000 RWHP.......

Now other then that, good job showing that guy up, people who brag about there cars are dumb sometimes, there is ALWAYS a bigger fish out there......

This kid also has a Yellow TT Supra that is loaded with Blitz stuff its aiight, not stupid quick, but decent....... The Supra that he is rebuilding now is gonna be retarded sick!

Yea thats Bryant he has that Yellow one to. But its slow. Believe it or not I seen the yellwo one get smoked by a Civic one night in front of my work. But yea that Blue one in the clip he went home and cried to his daddy that he got spanked. THEY REALLY RICH but his dad put it in the shop been in the shop for about 2yrs now but when it gets done suppose to have 900hp to the wheels. But my buddy Z desn't really have that much done to it. But he fixin to drop the engine again and really build it this time and we will see whats up. But no matter 600hp and 1000hp supra they all run about 11s. Never hook up. Inless its a ####in drag car with supra body ha.

Take this from a guy who used to be HEAVILY into the street racing scene, and NOT that gay F&F crap either. I had a highly modified 1G Eagle Talon/MItsu Eclipse that ran low 12's when i sold it. For what its worth, it looks as if he wasnt even trying in the 1st race. Im not going to lie, even with your friends bad ass Z, hes NOT going to leave a Supra in the dust like that unless the Supra is totally stock, and missing a wheel or 2. You said he's wicked rich, so i seriously doubt he left it stock. But I will say this, your friends Z sounds bad ass. Did i hear a BOV between shifts??

What is a BOV? By the way I take it you didn't watch both races? The first race we pulled on him and he gave up. The second race he jumped the gun on us before we was ready and still caught him..

Mee too man!! Im thinking of getting another 1G DSM, and building it up again. Its kind of funny. You buy the car for say around $2,000. Put $1,000 of mods into it and your running low 13's high 12's. Enough to smoke %85 of the cars on the road today. Not bad for about a $3,000 investment.

ported 95 manifold, with hks wastegate/b&m fpr/hacked mas/homemade upper ic pipe/spearco FMIC/walbro fuel pump/centerforce dual friction cluth/lightened stock flywheel/full 3" buschur racing exhaust/720 cc injectors/super afc/Buschur Racing big 16G turbo/Evo oxygen sensor housing/KYB AGX shocks.

Thats all i can think of now.

Mine actually wasnt TOO bad!! Was pretty reliable. But i have to remember the time i put out an engine fire with my 12oz bottle of rootbeer. It seems that after time the little rubber stopper on the top of the dipstick gets brittle, cracks, and no longer holds up to the extended crankcase pressure caused by 20lbs of boost I actually lost a race that night because of it.

Running awful LEAN in that pic of the dsm's gauges. Being a former owner of a supra or 2 I can tell you a few things about them. First they SUCK off the line. Average 60 foot time of a MODDED supra turbo is around 2.00. Thats just out of hand. Problem is they are quite dificult to launch with their independant rear set up. Second, You can actualy (has been done) get around 900 horse out of the stock short block. Now thats intense. NO reason for a Mk4 to take so long to reach 900 HP. Lastly the factory twin turbo set up is a sequential system. IE both turbo';s arent actualy feeding the motor at the same time, they take turns.

Looking at that pic again chances are your lean condition is whats causing your temp to be that high. Many DSM's keep a rather low on the gauge temp
