Message Center problem

I have a 2002 Explorer with about 89000 miles. There is a problem with the Electronic Message Center. I can no longer do a system scan and it shows the message Oil Change Required. I can clear the message with the reset button but it returns when I restart the engine. I cannot use the system to input an oil change and set it back to 100%

Anyone got any help on this problem?

you have to hit Setup and go to the option that lets you reset oil life. the oil change required will come on everytime you reset your engine as a warning.
