The message center itself will bolt up to the center console, but it is not prewired. You WILL have to wire EVERYTHING for it. I've looked into it, and its not worth the hassle IMO

i know that far....i got the wire harness from an eddie baurer...im placing all the different wires into their pins in the harness i have now...i also have the relay and the module...and the hvac controls that go to it to turn on the console blower motor and the module beside the radio if that goes to it...got it just incase...
im determined to get this working!!! i just hope the cd rom will help big time!

Run a search for this, its been discussed at legnth many times. I think somebody estimated 25 hours of labor and electrical engineering knowledge required.

If you're determined, hell give it a try. Maybe you could even do a writeup on how you did it?

thats what i heard that it will take more than 20 hrs...i got the time just not a continous 20 but 6 here and there...just by looking at it, there are alot of wires! and going thru the junkyard...every console wire harness is different...(by wire colors....about 80% of it are the same wires which is a goodie...but then right when i thought i got it...a different wire color is in the same pin on a different harness...but i will continue
