Metric BFGs

Folks,

I'm looking to get the equivalent of a 31 inch BFG AT KO with a 10.5 width on a 15 inch rim. However, I have metric tires now. What size is the equivalent of the preceding? Thanks!

Uhhh..........

Not to sound like a smarta$$, but what you are looking for is a 31X10.5-15. It doesn't matter that you have metric size tires now. The wheel size is still 15 inch. The only metric sizes (for a 15 inch wheel) the BFG AT KO comes in are:

• 215/75R15 (27.8" dia X 8.4" width)
• 235/75R15 (29.0" dia X 9.1" width)
• 325/60R15 (30.5" dia X 12.9" width)

The actual dimensions of a 31X10.5-15 are 30.7" dia X 10.5" width.

I think the closest metric is 265/75-15, few manufacturers make them, Firestone 265-15's were avail on some some Ranger Pickups.

Like was said above, if you have a 15" rim you can use the "flotation" 31-10.50 if thats the size you want.

Well, I've seen people use 31x10.5 on 15's. I just didn't understand the difference between the metric and regular sizes... I'm still in the learning process, but this web site has taught me a lot about cars.
