metric size for 31x9.50x15?

What is the metric size tire for a 31x9.50x15 or something really close to that? I want a 31" tire but I want it to only be 9.5" wide for better snow traction than a 10.5" wide tire. (somebody told me that, is it true?)

Also does BFG make that metric size in the All-Terrain KO's? That's what I have hopes of buying.

Try going to www.4lo.com and playing with the metric tire calculator. I messed with it a bit anc ame up with this metric size LT 240/80 R15. Gives you a diameter of 31.1 inches and a width of 9.4 inches. Pretty close, but if you play with it a little more you may get closer. The problem will be if BFG makes a tire of that size. You will not find anything for 15" rims. If you have 16", you could go with 215/85-16 (30.5 inch diameter) or 235/85-16 (31.5 inch diameter)

i really dont think u will see a huge difference in snow traction with 31x10.50 tires. i dont know of a 31x9.50 tire or equivalent. i think u will do fine with 31x10.50, that size is very popular, and there are tons of tires in that size. which helps with price too.
