MFT Upgrade/Update Part Numbers

Just an FYI. Got the update done this week at the dealership. Wow, it's much improved over the prior version I had (2.8). Much faster.

Strange thing is that I lost some of the info I used to have on the left side LCD screen. For example gallons of fuel used and operating time on "trip 1" and "trip 2". Also can not have a 'split screen' showing fuel level and RPM's along with the MPG graph.

Here are the part numbers for the new SD card taken right from my receipt:

Double post? I just replied to this same post in another thread...

I believe there is an option to turn on detailed trip meters, or extended trip meters or something like that in the settings in the left screen. Mine were in "basic" mode when I first got my EX last year.

Thanks. Fixed it. It's called "enhanced' mode for the trip display.

syncmyride says I have to take mine to the dealer for the update installation. I wonder if I will still be mailed the package as well? I'll have to call the dealer and see if they have a stock of SD cards.

I was in for service and was told to come in to have it installed by a tech when the package arrives in the mail. Nothing yet though.

The process is rather easy. Make sure the vehicle is off. Insert the usb. Turn the vehicle on. Let it do it's thing. At the end it will say it's completed. If you have nav. Remove the old card upon upgrade completion and insert the new card. Let Nav run it's thing and done. No need for a tech. The packages were just shipped yesterday and may take up to 5 weeks. There were almost a half million to ship. Hopefully it's alphabetical.

Make sure to keep us updated as to the SD card stock thing. My dealership said that they were told the packages were being mailed to the customers direct. As per the original plan. Not sure why some dealers are updating vehicles and supplying cards to customers. Ford Canakastan probably has a different more obscure plan the Ford US. By obscure I mean "Cheaper".

Noooooo!!!!!! This reminds me of first grade when the teacher would dismiss kids to go to lunch a small group at a time and do it alphabetical, always starting with "A-C". GOSH! My life would be so much better if my last name didn't start with "W". But I must say it's not as bad as it could have been if it started with "Z".
