I believe its clearance actually, but same difference, theyre only $12.97 right now, I picked up a new set today (1st and 2nd gens use 18" blades)

They are DAMN good blades, I also got a few gallons of theyre bug washer fluid for only $1.97.

Just thought id let those who need wipers know :D

I had been keeping my eye on the Rain-X Lattitues, but at 22$ a pop, im good!

$12.97 is actually the regular walmart price for these.

FYI, they are just standard Pylon brand beam blades licensed to use the Michelin name.

However, Target is no longer stocking Michelin branded items (wipers, floor mats, etc.), and quite a few of their stores have both the regular and beam style Michelin wiper blades for 50-75% off, making them around $4-8 each. I got 4 radius blades for $4.18 each.

Damn....on the price tags, they had the red bar like the clearance usually does, so I had assumed they were on clearance. I might just be taking them back and investing in the Rain-X Lattitudes or something :D

I bought a set of those for my wife's Liberty, and the darned things squeak loudly unless it's raining hard. Enough to drive you nuts.

$12.97 is still a good deal, they sell for something like $16.99 at auto parts stores.

Combined with the $10 rebate toypaseo pointed out, ~$14 for wiper blades you really like isn't bad at all.

I'm not convinced they are much, if any better than the old style of wipers, at least for a vehicle like the Explorer. There is probably some benefit for newer cars with huge windshields that need 22-26" blades, and where a thin, wimpy frame and thin squeegee tension spring doesn't put enough pressure evenly on the windshield. But hey, for some kind of clearance or rebate deal, get whatever you can, especially if you like 'em.

Yea thats what my buddy said about his on both his trucks, he told me theyre horrible, squeak, bounce, all that, but I needed something better than what I had, so I grabbed them, and weve had a good 8 days of HEAVY rain, and theyre great, well a couple of those days was just light rain, but still no squeaking, just a DAMN dry, clean windshield :D
