I have the job 1 engine. This is the same part number for mine. I am not sure if it is the same for the job 2.

What do you currently have installed?

my dad did it last time but my reciept says MGD MGL8316...so I am guessing I got the wrong one..

One is bigger than the other. Idk what to do lol

MGL2 has a metric thread where as the MGL8A is not so the real question is do you need metric or not on that particular engine?

I just got back from the store. I exchanged and got the right one. its longer than the one I bought originally.

I went through the same thing when I did my first oil change. Bought both filters, pulled the old one off & compared with new ones, returned the other filter the next day.

it took me all of five minutes when I got the right filter lol I will never spend money at a shop again!

Any reason you used the Microgard filter instead if the Motorcraft FL1A for only 50 cents more?

Or possibly a Wix 51515.. Wix filters are near the top as far at filter ability..

The funds I had only allowed me to do so much. I have been laid off so many times in the last month its not even funny anymore. I haven't had a full tank of gas in a month and wont for awhile. As long as this gets me through most of winter I will be very happy. I want to fix and do so many projects, like my dents from other cars, and other cool stuff. But times are tough :( I feel bad my truck looking like I dont take care of it. I feel so bad.
