Mirror bracket still stuck.... MAD

Ok guys.... I cannot get this rearview mirror bracket off my windshield for my life. I've tried heating it up and pulling it off, I've tried getting adhesive remover under it, but no luck there either. Anyone have any kind of suggestions on what I could do? I really don't want to buy another bracket and glue it on the one already on there, cause that'll look like s***. ANY help would be appreciated....

Funny, most people have trouble getting them to stay attached. I don't know of anything short of ripping it off with the mirror that will work. You might call up a glass shop that does windshield replacements and see if they have any advice.

Well if you want to you could just buy a new windshieldand break the other one to get the bracket off.

I agree with mrboyle that you should call a glass shop and see what they say.

Try to use a putty knife to work under it. It should not be hard to get off.

Tried it Hartman... tried a razor blade, putty knife, and screwdriver flathead. Nothin' doin'......
