Not referring to hp and torque increases, like exhaust/tuning/etc., what modifications can be done to improve towing ability and comfort? I know you can't increase the towing capacity, but I know you can improve the driving experience and stability. What I'm wondering about is upgrades like front and rear anti-sway bars, uprated coil-overs/shocks, or better cooling brake rotors and pads. What I'd like to do is anything that will increase my safety, braking, and overall ability to keep the truck planted evenly on all fours. Any suggestions?

If it helps, I plan on buying a 20-24 ft. camper and using weight distribution hitch. My Explorer has the tow package, 4.6L motor, RWD, and 3.73 gears.

You could do the Aviator brake upgrade. Involves swapping knuckles and 17" rims. Search the forums for that write up.

if you don't have one already, an electronic trailer brake controller
