Moog Ball Joint’s Question's?

I am getting the famous knocking sound when driving and hitting bumps in the road so I figure it’s my ball joint’s Lowers as I understand it, But the rubber boots on the uppers are completely F**ked as well. I have put some grease in them and sealed it up with RTV silicone but that will only put off the inevitable . So I figure it’s just best to do both the uppers and lowers in one hit< Like a bandaid one swoop RIGHT OFF!! LOL

Are these the correct part numbers for a 98 4WD explorer Lower and upper?

1.> MOG K8695T
2.> MOG K8710T, Upper controls arm assembly.

Is Part> MOG K8710T only the control arm and do I need to buy the Upper ball joints to fit to it, why are there no dust covers supplied with the uppers?

It also said that it is the Upper passenger side, why is there no part for drivers side or do the passenger side ones flip round and fit onto the drivers side as well.?

I will be most likely buying from Summit Racing and having it shipped over to me in Perth, Western Australia, so I just need to make sure I get the right stuff first time round, As I am looking at like $530 Australian Dollars without shipping. I figure even with shipping I should still be in front as over hear the Ford parts would probably coast me $800 at least.

I will be sending Summit a E-mail next week to find out the coast to ship those parts to Australia hopefully the price isn’t to much.

Lastly how would you rate summit to deal with, as I am buying from overseas and this is my first time buying stuff over the internet I am a little nevose

Don’t all jump in at once LOL.

I sent summit a E-Mail and I have found out what I needed to know.

The price and shipping was also less than what I expected too, just got to find out the Import/ border Tax so I know what it will cost me in total.
