Had my Explorer two days and last night I went to open the moon roof and it was like there was no power to the switches. I couldn't even get the shade to open

Take it to the dealer?
I wouldn't even bother trying to fix it yourself on a brand new vehicle...

I will head there first thing in the morning. I needed to pick up my crossbars anyway.

Sounds like the fuse blew !

I thought I would check that but since I have to go to the dealer anyway, Ill let them.

*EDIT - OK, I stopped being lazy and it was the fuse! Thanks NEWPORTNJ for nudging me and making me not so lazy! One less thing I have to have checked out. I will ask the dealer for a replacement fuse to put back in the spar location.

Now the next question. Why did the fuse blow in the first place?

Peter9 is right why did fuse blow, well things to look into
1. Short in wireing or bad motor
2 tension when openning or closeing
3 it was a bad fuse
4 freak happening
just let them check it thats what warrenty is for.

just let them check it thats want warrenty if for.

Agreed. Truly, I would even have them replace the fuse. It's not from laziness, but to get the problem logged.
