That thing is leaking bad then -- I hope you plan on changing it out soon?

I planned on changing it this morning, of all things!

Well, then don't worry about yanking the plugs, just get busy and pull the whole head off it. That'll solve the problem! :)

Let us know how everything goes!

or flip the truck over and shake it out haha just kidding

went to walmart and bought a socket, with cab fare cost me like $60... pulled the plug , got water out, drove to the auto place here on base and started taking it apart today. about 1/8 inch of water was in the cylinder and thats after jsut driving it this morning about 4 blocks. workign on putting the head and manifold back together now. then hopefully tomorrow i can sort out the rats nest of vacuum lines and electrical fittings and get her runnin again.

you got lucky if all you have to do is replace the head gasket. :p

i hydrolocked mine wheeling about a year ago going though some deep water, sucked to much through my k&n i guess haha... bent a rod on the #3 piston. i have to say, it was fun to get into my motor though. heres a pic of the rod i bent... good luck with getting yours back together man!

Awsome pic of the bent rod........I hydro locked my Chevy Celebrity (V6 3.1L) once.............drained her out, dried her up, changed plugs and fluids.............was good to go after that.

Aloha, Mark
