going to attempt changing plugs this weekend on my 2010 4.0L weather is suppose to be real nice for a change. I was thinking of getting this Magnetic Swivel Spark Plug Socket I've read some good reviews on it but was wonder if anyone here has used it and how well works. Doesn't have the rubber boot in it just a magnet that is suppose to hold the plug tight for removal & replacing.

TIA

They work really well unless you've got spark plugs that are REALLY stuck, and you might break the tool at the base (I've broken one changing plugs on a 1999 4.6 car, the plugs were glued in pretty well), and then I'd pop them loose initially with something conventional first.

Beyond that, they work really well, I've got two (one in 5/8th's, the other 13/16).
