Where is the cheapest place to buy a new heater box for my 97 Mountaineer. I tired the blend door fix, but no luck. It seems like the door is broken/stuck inside box. But, if I am taking the box out, I think I may just put a new one in it. Has anyone done it? I have done heater cores on Mustangs and a Bronco II, so I can't see it being much different. But, I will not pay Ford $1000 to do it, I'll trade the truck in before I do that. Let me know.
