Yes, I read the other thread talking about finding and killing mice. Entertaining. Once they enter my garage or barn, I fall into the "only good mouse is a dead mouse" camp.
In early December, I got the Explorer out of the barn. I hadn't driven the Explorer for about a month and found a mouse had been inside for at least a little while.
Has anyone figured out how the little *******s get into the inside? I know where the air vents in the tailgate area are, and will check those for signs of entry. I'm wondering if I should look anywhere else.
On a BMW I owned, there was a big air vent near the battery (in the trunk) that could become dislodged and allow for easy entry. I'm wondering if the Explorer has any similar vulnerabilities. Or maybe there is something under the hood? I should check the cabin air filter to see if he gnawed his way in there too, I guess.
