..You can also find some good info in you do a search for "dual battery"..;)

It'll be a little involved since the battery tray is part of the body, but is pretty doable.

Some Explorers have the battery back there, and the airbox in front behind the passenger side headlight. All you need to do is get the battery tray and airbox/tube from one of those, and swap it all in. You'll probably run into some snags tweaking the wiring to go with the new battery location, but take your time and you can work it out.

Is it the 2nd gen de with the battery in that location?

Yes, scond gen batteries are located behind the driver side headlight. The tray is platic and is held in with three 10 mm bolts..two on the finder shotgun, and one on the core support. With some modding, you should be able to move it right there. May I ask why you want to relocate the battery from one side to the other?

im wanting to put my air filter behind the passsenger side headlight

Ah, well that would probably be the easiest way to do it is use a second gen battery tray. But then you will need to reloacte the radiator overflow tank and the charcoal canister IIRC.

What about the maf plug just extend the wires? If so what Guatemala wire do i need to use

Yea would be easier. And different
