MPG on Message Center

When I first Purchased the vehicle is was at 19.something miles a gallon. Now it is at 17, is this normal? I had it for maybe a week now, I don't drive crazy or have bad driving habits. Does something needs to be replaced or something? It dropped 2 miles in a week, is this going to drop down 2 miles every week?Is the message center MPG very accurate?

The people before you probably reset it right before you bought it and and drove it nice and easy to show higher MPG's. But you should get around 15 or 16 driving in the city. 20-21 Highway. Mine is at low 15's now and i surely don't have a lead foot.

Keep in mind if the engine is running and the Ex isn't moving then you are getting 0 miles to the gallon.
