You will definatly love the Baja's. But, you also must realize that they will wear faster than all terrains. You will have to rotate and balance them at 3,000 miles or you will find that they wear weird and start to vibrate something terrible. You will also love them in the mud and sand and snow. But, they suck in ice if you have it. Just my 2 cents, since I have them already! I had mine for a year and they dont have much life on them left.

Okay the tires are on after much haggling with the tire techs. They said it wouldnt fit..i said lets test one, it fit. and then he said i was going to destroy the front end with these tires and said that they would rub and id destroy the tire. Then said that they are illegal if it sticks out of the body more then 2". I will say that stock height there is no room really, but ill be doing the 3" lift this weekend with lots of promised pics. The radial baja's are soooo smooth and quiet its like a car tire. they took 2 ounces of weight each to balance.

started at 1pm on sunday and finished at 8pm. The 3" PA body lift is great! The steering Knuckle extension fit like a glove-perfect fit. All ten bolts were just the right size. They should take those bumper plates and shove em up their a@@es though. The directions are very good and simple.
My truck is almost at the point where ill be happy looking at it.
Next week mods are:
Warn manual hubs
cat back exhaust
4 rsx shocks
2"shackels (maybe the pepboys version)
2" spring spacers
and then all ill need is a prerunner bumper and
perrys fab and fiber front end.
2004 goal is the 460:D

where are the pics?

wider is better

I want something like a super swamper but i want the tire to have a wide road contact area.

and whats a good an inexpensive lift kit? something were i can maintain handling a bit. but i think i wanna stay with a 15inch rim....

i'm just getting into the Offroad thing and don't know **** about it....

it will be 60% on road and 30% off road driving..
something i can play with ya know....

any help is better than no help...

wow! Those tires do look sweet! A friend had those rims on his truck before he lifted it. They look alot better on an explorer, though, and i like the grey color of your truck. Is it original?
