I'm replacing my muffler and exhaust pipes. I ordered a walker ss muffler and pipes, but I also ordered the factory bolt and nut. The nut doesn't seem to fit the bolt. The part number is HN1 but it's been replaced by
N802641S-441, it has a flange welded to the nut and when I thread the nut onto the bolt it only fits onto the bolt by the depth of the nut and then stops. I don't want to force it through because the flange spins and hits the corroded cat pipe and I dont want to damage that part. The ford cat is $4000! Is there a certain way to install this?
