Should fit, unless you're also swapping carriers, in which the 28 spline stang will not work in the 31 spline X.

well i was looking around on ebay at gears for the 8.8,
some company was selling 3.55, 3.73, and 4.10 gears for around $150 for the ford mustange 8.8, but i dont know if if was the right spline.......i think they were saying a 30 spline, but i dont know?

Is there such thing as a 30 spline, I think it's basically 28 or 31. Explorers have 31, and Stangs and Rangers can have either.
