Mustang Hood

Hey guys I was wondering what if any of the mustang hoods i could swap my hood with without doing any mods or minor mods if necessary? I like the whole scoop thing! Ebay does have a few good non ricey scoop bolt ons that i think would look good on the X though. I heard 83-86 ones fit or am i wrong?

I think Explorer hoods are unique (at least 95+), and other hoods will NOT bolt on. I have a fiberglass scoop waiting to go on my truck when I have time.

I looked at those. You'd need to machine your own custom mounting plate and engineer the intake stuff. You also might not have enough room to run functional intake tubing.

Basically, it would still be an entirely custom job and cost $$$.
