Mustang parts on my truck?

i have a 2000 mountaineer with the 5.0 V8 in it...in my garage, i also have a 5.0 mustang with a good portion of mods done to it...but as of right now the trans isnt in it. could i use the MAF converter off of it on my truck? (just tryin to get a little better MPG here, hehe)

I've heard they can be adapted. Stock Explorers have 70mm MAFs. Whats on your Stang?

You can but they it has to be reprogrammed. Summit used to sell something that did this, but I haven't seen it in the mag in a while
