Before I schedule a date with my dealership, I would like to gather inputs here on what might have happened.

Last Sunday morning when I started the vehicle, it died immediately...it did the same the 2nd time I started as if it is being choked. The 3rd time, it somehow manages to successfully start but with a lot of white smoke coming off. During the course of the day, I have been observing how it behaves. It seems like it pauses(a millisecond or nanosec) a little bit when I start. Monday and today morning it did the same pause. In short, the starting sequence is not as smooth as before.

What's the difference?
I have 11k + and it has been serviced regularly. Nothing of sort happen until today. During the first months, I have tried 3 different gasoline stations. All of them Premium gas.I settled with Shell. Since my company moved to a new location 2 weeks ago, I tried the nearest gasoline station (Mobil)...fill it up and was running ok (although I believe Shell has a smoother ride). Then it happened just when my tank gauge points to a little below 1/4. :thumbdwn:

What could have gone wrong? Thanks for your valuable comments and suggestion.

In general, blue smoke out the exhaust is oil, white smoke is anyifreeze/water. Black smoke is too much gas.

Check your coolant level and see if it is low. You may need that warranty!

Thanks. I did check that and the level is okay.
