My 2002 Explorer Sport is giving problems shifting into first gear. Help!

I noticed a couple of days ago that my explorer was giving problems shifting into the first gear. Once it got past that, it was fine. It does it when I slow down or come to a stop. When I press the gas pedal, it pulls to get into the first gear. There have been no lights showing in my car that something is wrong and it just happened a few days ago. If anyone can offer any help, it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!

Aren't you still under warranty?

I wouldn't try to fix anything while still under warranty, it would void it.
