Ok so for starters I have a 96 4x4 ohv 4.0.
Now I've done my fair share of work to my 2wd 4.0 96 but this 4x4 seems to hate me! First codes read p0133 bank 1 sensor 1 p0401 and p0420 bank 1 . My lower intake was leaking antifreeze so i pull it all the way to the heads compression tested cylinders everything was good so no need on digging deeper! Put it all back together and was leaking gas from o ring on a injector no big deal pull the top replaced all o rings a little lube put it right back together! No vacuum leaks everything ran good I let the computer clear the codes by itself awesome. As expected the o2 code was still there because it wasn't replaced keep in mind I'm fixing one problem at a time! So throws code p0133 bank 1 sensor 1 and p0135 bank 1 sensor 1 ok time to change the o2 sensor passenger side exhaust manifold runs like a champ no cut back stays running without any issues at all check engine light turns off I started jumping up and down n all around then pow check engine light comes on pull obd2 reader back out to check it out and the light goes off. By this time I'm like wtf? Drive down the road nothing no check engine light next morning wake up start it up and check engine light is on p0300 and p0174 bank 2. Random misfire??? But what cylinder ran for 2 days same thing happened check engine light till she gets warm than it goes off?? Now this morning I get p0300 p0301 p0302 p0303 all three passenger side cylinders misfire till it gets warm than it just leaves this p0174 bank 2. This truck is making me crazy any help would be great. P.s. not one misfire until I replaced that o2 sensor
