This hole build up may take awhile. Im pretty much waiting on income tax $$ to finish this up.
On to the eXplorer

Truck-
1993 Explorer
5spd
4.0 with about 158k at this time.
Auto hubs
power everything but not seats.
3.27 Open diff's :thumbdwn:

Things completed-
Dual Bat's.
Flowmater 40 series.
2.5" Pipe from the down pipe back ( then stock tail pipe :thumbdwn: )
Black American racing rims 15x8 with 3.75 B/S
31x10.50x15 RVT's
CB installed
Eclipse head 5404 Head unit
0 gauge wireing with 300 amp fuse.
Polk Audio 5x7's
2 12" Alpine Type E's ( 4 ohm each )
Alpine Audio 4 channel 360 watt amp ( for the polks )
American Bass D1000 1ohm stable D class amp ( running at 2 ohms 700 watts rms to the Alpines)

Future-
4-6" lift
33" MT tires ( LTB's or the like )
Probably some 3.73's with locker in front and LS in rear.
Manual warn Hubs
And of course a Safari Rack
After winter a Custom snorkle

I know you guys will want me to go with like 4.10s or 4.56 with 33's, But I dont plan on keeping this for ever, I only drive a few miles a day, and I have some other things to work on, aftermarket gears are going to cost me more then a junk yard grab for those, wich will satisfy my needs just fine.
I dont plan on making things *pretty* or Looking show quality, its a 93 Explorer with 156k on it, its a SUV/Truck And I'm going to drive it like a SUV with a lift and its not going to be babied.
Pretty soon everything will be trimmed and rhino lined. with new front and rear bumper cause I like to push over trees sometimes, we get bored up here. Its a little contest we came up with.

here are 2 pics I have

Lets Bring this back from the Dead

Well,Lets bring this back up.This truck is gone. I lifted it 6" and put 33's on it. I had let a friend borrow it and he rolled it. trashed the side.. So I bought a 91 trasnferd the super lift over. And heres what I have as Of now. Most of this is temp. til after winter. Its getting cold up here And I hate working on the truck at 30 degree's

I had the Jeep rims laying around. I dont think they look half bad but the tires rub on the sway bar. Everything is just *rattle can flat black primer* for the winter. I got a buddy with a paint shop for after winter.
I just have the 3.55's in this. I dont really plan on bringing it off road to much, simply because I dont have the time. So for the road it will do.

I trasnfered the stereo over, I still got to re-do this exhuast, and my 2nd battery. New rims. More meaty Tires. Safari Rack. Lights. Ect..

I have a question for everyone tho.
Does anyone know if doors with power windows will work with this? I have crank windows now, But I didnt know if the X was pre-wired for the power window doors.

nice x wanted
