ok to start i have a 2002 explorer sport trac 4x4
i did my body lift this weekend, pa accessories kit
problems:
cab mounts: NO problem, lil liquid wrench and a propane torch and they came out like butter
rear bumper: SO hard to get off with the hitch in the way, and the hitch bolts wouldnt loosen at all....
and putting it back on requires trimming of the new brackets and the frame rail to make it align right...
a/c line: just zip tied it out of the way, they realy need to include that in the instructions
THE REAL PROBLEM:
the air intake, the stock airbox sits 3" higher than the engine now
the instructions says nothing about that
the vacuum hose is to short to reach the intake tube now...
so what do i do?
right now im just running nothing before the MAF and lettin it sit on the bottom half of the air box
and it idles realy erradic jumpin up and down a few hundered rpm, maybe its relearning itself or the vacuum line still isnt hooking up right.
