- 1991 Ford Explorer XLT
Well, my buddy is Ford all the way. His whole family is. They have an old Ford house full of antique Fords and an Explorer graveyard. That's the back story. I mentioned I wanted a mud toy/backup vehicle, and he found a beautiful 91 Explorer automatic 4x4. Great interior, decent body, transmission rebuilt about 20k miles ago, etc.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi! We put a 4 inch lift and 33x12.50 on 15x10 rims. Went mudding with another buddy with an explorer. We're getting all matching windshield stickers for some laughs. Still need to eventually regear to 4.56 and would like to convert to a standard eventually, but time will tell.
