My dead left light of steering wheel fixed itself

You know how the left side of the steering wheels on the 2nd gens will stop lighting up and apparently it is a PITA and not worth it to fix, well I took my truck into the bodyshop because I was T boned and now it lights up. But i can hardly see ford fixing that for no reason. Weird stuff.

possibly lose wire..... i wonder if they had to disco the airbags to work on it, maybe something accidentally got plugged back in....

yup, And sadly my crusie control does not work without the light. It's just not worth the extreme effort to fix it.

I never knew that worked! Does the mirror switch light up to? What about the 4x4 button? What about the window buttons? What about the dimmer switch?

The power Mirror Switch on my 98 does not light up. I even took it apart hoping to find a bulb in the switch similar to the headlight switch but it definately didn't have one.

Not sure about the dimmer. My dimmer catches a little light from the headlight switch. I have a feeling this is all the light the dimmer's meant to get.

I have lots of lights turning on but theyre never the right ones. Ive got the CEL the ABS one the O/D one. My truck is fully customised!!

power mirrors dont...never looked at the dimmer but i doubt it.

Im going to Ford tomorrow to ***** at them more then i ever have for the work they did to my truck so I can ask what they did to it. get this: they replaced my passenger front door and the little knob thing sticks up an extra inch then normal, no big deal just ugly. then i look at the outside and the door handle is a different type then the other 3 and stands out, like wtf, paint the f*cking thing red if you dont want it to match(trucks black).
