Thanks guys. Adding the flattening agent into the clear has changed the colour heaps. The order of the pics are arse about , this is how I first got it

I originally was going to paint it satin black but my wife found a pic on the net of a Camaro in satin dark blue, so decided to do that. but ended up buying this blue instead of a dark shade.

explore aus, oh really sweet. you don't see many explorers getting around that have anything done to them. what's yours got done to it? where you from I'm south east suburbs.

Hey mate i'm from down south east as well, Narre Warren - Pakenham area. I have 2" suspension lift, 3" body lift, 31" Bighorns, Modified TJM bullbar with higher tow points, painted all the guards black so its a white/black theme. Just in the middle of replacing my timing chains and had my transmission rebuilt. I'm looking at grabbing some mechanical lockers next for the front end, can get them from LOKKA for $360 delivered, also wanting to fab up a rear bar like you have to put two swing arms on, one for fuel and one for a tyre. Yours looks mad.

Thanks mate. I'm from cranbourne east. Yours sounds sweet as well. Was the body lift hard to install? I've thought about doing that a lot but think ill wait until I put the Dana 30 in. I really want to run 35s. I've got mates with gq's and hiluxs on 35s, I can't compete with them. I'm going to redo my rear bar hopefully over the next few weeks. Fingers crossed it works out good. One thing I'd love to do is get a manual t case for it. The electronic one ***** me. When you get your ex back on the road we will have to catch up.

The body lift was not hard to install, however I have access to rattle guns, hoists and the like. So it made the process a lot quicker. If you have any questions I can give you a run down on how I did it, and what issues I had with my kit. When it's back on the road you should come out for a drive in Gembrook.

a hoist would be nice, ive got all the other gear needed, which body lift kit did you use or did you make your own?

yeah id be keen on that, be good to actually see another explorer in person that has had work done to it.
